Privacy Policy

ReccurIQ helps you see what your subscriptions cost. Most of what you enter never leaves your iPhone. This policy explains exactly what does, where it goes, and why.

Stored only on your device

Your subscriptions, prices, categories, budgets, notes, financial profile (income and work hours), chat history and profile photo are saved on this iPhone only. We do not upload them to our servers.

You can use ReccurIQ without an account. Deleting the app, or using Delete account / Erase all data, removes this data.

Chats you have not opened for 30 days are deleted automatically, unless you star them.

Your account

When you sign in with email, Google or Apple, our backend provider Supabase stores your email address and sign-in records so you can log in. If you add them, your name, phone number, currency, default billing frequency and notification preference are saved to your account as well.

Your phone number is contact information only. ReccurIQ does not send you text messages.

The ReccurIQ AI assistant

Answers in the AI tab are generated by Google Gemini. Each time you ask something, we send Google your message, any photo, PDF or voice note you attach, the last few messages of that chat, and a short summary of your tracked subscriptions (names, prices, totals and your currency). This goes through our server; Google processes it under its Gemini API terms.

We ask for your agreement before your first message. You can use every other part of ReccurIQ without the assistant.

Please don't share passwords, card numbers or other sensitive information in the chat.

Service logos and market data

To show a service's logo, the app loads its public App Store icon from Apple, or for services without an app, a logo from logo.dev or Google's favicon service using only the service's website domain, for example netflix.com. Investment projections request public market prices, and currency conversion requests daily exchange rates from the European Central Bank (via frankfurter.dev). None of these requests include anything about you.

Diagnostics

If the app crashes or runs slowly, a diagnostic report (device model, iOS version, app version, the error and timing information) may be sent to our error-monitoring provider, Sentry, so we can fix it. We also record a few anonymous product events, such as finishing onboarding, tied to a random identifier created on your device, not to your name or email.

What we never do

We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites. We do not connect to your bank. Renewal reminders are scheduled on your iPhone; they are not sent through our servers.

Your choices

You can export your subscriptions, clear your data, log out, or delete your account at any time from More. Deleting your account removes it from our servers and erases the data on this device.
